I have used an international size guide to reflect the correct US size. However I did measure up the UK SM & ML jumpers side by side and to be honest there was about a cm between the two, other than the arms which run about an inch longer on the M/L, The Acrylic material will stretch once worn and droop, like and oversized jumper. I have placed the Sweaters flat on a table and put a tape measure on the SM & ML and the approximate measurements are as follows;

SM - Chest from left to righ  52cm, Arm Length 50cm, Drop 68cm

ML chest from left to right is 53cm, Arm Length 50cm, Drop 68cm

I have obtained these sizes by placing a tape measure on the sweaters by laying them flat and hopefully they should give you a good idea of their size if you measured against your own sweaters.
