Army of the Cumberland
16 Historic Books on CD

The Army of the Cumberland was one of the principal Union armies in the Western Theater during the American Civil War. It was originally known as the Army of the Ohio when under the command of Brig. Gen. Robert Anderson. When Maj. Gen. William S. Rosecrans assumed command of the army and the Department of the Cumberland, he changed the name of the combined entity to the Army of the Cumberland. This collection explores the lives and battles they fought as well as a fascinating look at some of the post war reunions that they celebrated.

In addition to being an interesting military resource, this collection also has a great deal of genealogical value as it discusses the events of the men who served in the Army of the Cumberland and related units during the American Civil War.
