Each letter offers a different storyline and characters.

LEARNING TOOLS: Each word is highlighted as the story is read aloud so the child can match the words with their pronunciation.

After the story is read, the child can click on any word in the text to hear it pronounced or click on bolded words to read and hear their definition.

If the child positions the mouse over a letter on the bar, the letter is pronounced aloud.

WORD LISTS: The Interactive Alphabet includes lists of supplementary words for the child to learn.

These word lists are available for every letter and are located on the bottom left-hand side of the screen.

The "C" word list includes additional "C" words that the child can learn such as caboose, cactus, camel, canary, cannon, carrot, catfish, camera and clam.

When the child double clicks on these words, the word is pronounced once.

This oral pronunciation is followed by visual reinforcement with an animated scene.

After the animation is complete, the word is pronounced a second time.
