Invictus Aqua Cologne by Paco Rabanne, Evoking the spirit of athleticism, invictus aqua revives the trend of aquatic colognes. The base notes of ambergris, amber wood and guaiac wood leave a lasting earthiness, peacefully grounding the fragrance. Paco rabanne originally released invictus in 2013, using the latin word for unconquerable" or undefeated" as the namesake for the cologne inspired by the idea of competition and victory. To further emphasize the aquatic nature of the scent, the french fashion house released invictus aqua in 2016. The bottle, shaped like a trophy, captures the athletic spirit of this fragrance. The frosted blue color gives a distinctly marine feel to the packaging, and the silver accents add to its masculine overtone.
