The filter is in used condition, but is not damaged in any way, with no scratches or dings etc.

It is designed to fit all camera lenses by way of the spring-loaded lever system -- all you do is position it on your lens and release the lever, and the filter will stay on your lens firmly, with no danger of falling off.
