This auction is for an original photograph from World War I of Douglas MacArthur, wearing the famous fur coat. Photo is 6 1/2" x 8 1/2". This is an original press photo-NOT a copy. Photo is stamped on back with "Scene from current issue of Hearst News Film, credit must be given on publication". This was from an estate where several other of these original photos were found. Most were from Universal. Photo is in good condition, has tape marks on white corners border, a few creases. Photos show the damage on top corners. The number 88607 appears in lower left corner. Still a great and very rare war collectible. A must-have for any collector! (Photos of this type are often only found at the large auction houses.)
