BIONECT Cream is a preparation for external use containing hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a biological polysaccharide (glycosaminoglycan), located in an external - cellular matrix of most tissues. Due to its hydrophilic properties, it provides a hydrated space around and between cells, facilitating their migration.

' BIONECT comes in various forms (BIONECT cream, gauze pads, spray, gel and foam).

Ingredients:

Active substance:

Sodium salt of hyaluronic acid 0.2%

Other ingredients are:

Polyethylene glycol 400 monostearate, detsiloleat, emulsifier, glycerol, sorbitol solution 70% sodium dehidroatsetat, methylparahydroxybenzoate, propylparahydroxybenzoate, flavor, purified water.

Purpose:

BIONECT Cream is for topical treatment of skin irritations, injuries and disabilities. In particular, it is intended to cover both acute and chronic wounds (ie, bruises, abrasions, donor sites and surgical incisions, burns first and second grade, vascular and metabolic decubitus ulcers) and providing a moist environment for the wound, protecting it, thus further friction, rubbing and drying.

Dosage and administration:

Wounds or ulcers to be cleaned and disinfected before use. To apply a thin layer of cream on the surface of the wound twice or more a day. Buttered area to be covered with sterile gauze and sterile gauze pad.

Contraindications:

Do not administer to patients with known hypersensitivity to the individual components of the product.

Warnings:

' Do not use if damaged packaging. Do not use after expiry date still in the package.

' The expiry date refers to storage in the original container at room temperature (30 C).

' After use, be disposed of under the applicable national law. Keep out of reach of children.

Precautions:

Avoid direct contact with the wound on the tube! Each tube of cream BIONECT only be used from one patient to reduce the risk of another infection.

Drug interactions:

Do not use concomitantly with disinfectants containing quaternary ammonium salts because hyaluronic acid is precipitated in their presence. Concomitant treatment of external wounds with antibiotics or other topical agents do not cause interactions or incompatibility with BIONECT cream.

Storage:

Store at room temperature (30 C).
