This American Flag dog collar is the perfect accessory for your patriotic pooch. Great for every day wear to show your American Pride or support for a loved one in the military. Or just for those special occasions when you're celebrating Independence Day, Veteran's Day, Labor Day or Memorial Day.

• This lightweight, adjustable collar is made from nylon
• Uses a medium-grade plastic "slide and snap" closing
• Includes a metal D-ring for attaching a leash
• Fits small to medium-sized dogs with necks that measure between 9 1/2" and 17 1/2" (see photos)

Nylon collars are recommended for puppies and are also great for small dogs and normally active medium and larger dogs. For extremely active dogs, a more heavy duty collar is recommended.

Measuring Tips for a Perfect Fit:

• Measure around your dog's neck using a cloth measuring tape positioned where his/her dog collar normally sits
• If you do not have a cloth tape measure, try using a piece of string and then measure the string with a ruler.
• Add 2 inches to the measurement... this is your dog's neck size
• Check the collar's fit. It should be snug with enough room to slide two fingers between your dog's neck and his collar.

The dog in the photos is my blue-eyed wonder dog, Franki. She's a black lab mix and weighs about 50 pounds.
