This auction is for the original vinyl LP of Jesus Christ Superstar, A Rock Opera by Andrew Lloyd Weber and Tim Rice. This coming October (2010) will mark its 40th anniversary...WOW...

Recorded on Decca Records, A Division of MCA Inc., copyright 1970. This is a double LP with gatefold cover. The cover is very good-has a minor crease on bottom right corner. The viniyl is very clean, very minor wear-plays great!! AND it comes with original booklet which is a real rarity these days!! It too is in good condition-back pages have a few creases but overall-nice.

And as if that wasn't enough...I am also including the VHS video of the Universal movie version that was released in 1973. The video was released in 1998. Box shows very little wear and movie plays fine.

A great collection of one of the greatest masterpieces of all time!!!
