OVERVIEW

TheLandsail LS588 UHP is a high performance all season tire manufacturedfor passenger vehicles. Landsail offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warrantywith this model.

The model guaranteesexcellent all weather traction. The silica-based tire compound and thecomputer optimized tread pattern increase the road gripping ability indry, wet and winter weather. The silica in the compound maintains itsflexibility in all weather road conditions, while the asymmetric treaddesign s elements ensure road grip all year round. The specialcircumferential and lateral grooves, along with the extra siping detail,boost the hydroplaning resistance by dispersing water and slush frombelow the tire s footprint. The increased road contact and tread designpromote a safer year round performance.

Thetire s silica-enhanced tire compound also manages to decrease thevehicle s fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The silica in the compoundmanages to decrease the rolling resistance by decreasing the weight ofthe rubber materials. The rolling resistance is the driving pressureaffecting the tire during the drive that determines the energy neededfor the vehicle to maintain the tire s motion. This takes the drivingpressure off the tire and offers a fuel efficient drive in all weather.

Thecomputer optimized tread pattern maintains constant road contact. Thisincreases the model s controllability in all conditions as the tirekeeps its constant road contact. The steering responsiveness and drivingstability are improved in this manner. The steering becomes quick andprecise in its responsiveness to the driver s commands, while the tire sstructure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it. Thetire s internal structure and the reinforced sidewall maintain theoptimal tire shape even under the high speed driving pressure. The modeldoes not deform under the pressure affecting it, which guarantees asafer high speed driving experience.

TheLandsail UHP promotes a quiet drive. The optimized pitch distributionmanages to decrease the road noise generated while the tires are inmotion. The pitch negates the road noise created during the drive with asound frequency that cancels out all road and tread pattern noise madeby the tire. The road noise does not reach the tire s cabin in thismanner, which promotes a comfortable and enjoyable drive.
