DESCRIPTION: Vintage 1981/82, Ettore "Ted" DeGrazia, "Merry Little Indian' collectors plate, one of the most reproduced artists of all time, Ettore "Ted" DeGrazia, limited edition plates, collectors plate number 8405 of 10,000 pieces issued, titled "Merry Little Indian' is the seventh in DeGrazia's Children Series of collector plates and based on an original oil painting by De Grazia for the "1981/82 Artists of the World" series, produced in a limited edition of 10,000 in 1982, the year of the artist's death. Plate is 10-1/2" in diameter, rimmed in gold, signed in front by DeGrazia (not an autograph), backstamped in gold, hand numbered on the back. The central decoration is a child in Indian costume on a carousel horse with De Grazia signature at the lower right. The plate is in mint condition with no wear or damage of any type. Plate is for decorative purposes only and not to be used with food. MAKER: Fairmont Perfect Porcelain AGE: 1981/82, approx. 31 years old. CONDITION: Excellent. BOX: No box, no COA. STAND: No stand. DAMAGE/ODOR: None. OWNER: Original owner.
