Designed to be used with the typical 2" receiver type trailer hitches.
It uses a 2" stainless steel tube mount that slides into the hitch receiver and is secured with a common 5/8" hitch pin (pin not included).
There are 2 pin holes in the mount to allow adjustment in and out of the receiver to enable mounting the unit as close to the bottom of the bumper as possible.
There is a wiring disconnect to allow removal of the light unit for use of the hitch receiver for towing.

The White Night Rear Lighting System mounts to your vehicles hitch or step-bumper, and features two 55 watt high-output halogen lamps encased in a weatherproof housing. The unit is designed to produce 130,000 candle power for 80+ feet of white light illumination, and serves as a great way to improve nighttime safety and visibility. As a measure of convenience, it's equipped with a three-position toggle switch to allow for manual or automatic operation.
NOTE: All light units have a 3 position toggle switch on the back which allows for 3 modes of operation. In one position the light unit is automatically activated when the vehicle is placed in reverse. Center position is off. The 3rd position allows manual operation.
ATTENTION: The most common cause of a rear lighting system not to function correctly on a Ford or GM vehicle has nothing to do with the light unit itself. From the factory the fuses or relays for the 12 volt power wire on the vehicle's 7-pin trailer wiring plug are not installed. The included directions detail how to easily resolve this issue.
